Barcelo Pearl Farm Island
Resort
Formerly known as the Pearl Farm Beach
Resort, the Barcelo Pearl Farm Island Resort
is an important gateway where visitors can
enjoy the pleasures of the tropics, relish
the flavors of life, and feast on the
bounties of nature.
Located on a secluded cove on the island of
Samal just off Davao City’s coast, the
Barcelo Pearl Farm Island Resort used to be
a pearl farm. Before, thousands of
white-lipped oysters were brought in from
the Sea of Sulu. These oysters were
cultivated for their white, gold, and pink
pearls.
The resort calls to visitors promising a
life of leisure, relaxation, and retreat. A
world-class resort, the Barcelo Pearl Farm
Resort has coconut palms and clean white
beaches as its backdrop.
The Barcelo Pearl Farm Resort boasts of
suites, numerous deluxe guestrooms, and
cottages on stilts set above crystal clear
blue waters. It stretches over eleven
hectares of what had once been used as a
pearl farm. Its waters are crystal clear
with waves gently lapping the island’s
shores beckoning to visitors to partake of
its pleasures.
If sports on land are more your thing, the
resort has several tennis courts open even
at night.
But the Barcelo Pearl Farm Resort
is really for water enthusiasts---and the
wide array of water
activities here range
from wind surfing to scuba diving.
